The start of our trip. We flew into Dublin, Ireland and here's the traffic going out of Dublin. Notice that they drive on the "wrong" side of the road. Incredibly stressful. These street are some of the widest we drove on. Most streets are 2 lanes large enough for 2 mini coopers to pass each other. If you have anything larger than a mini cooper, you hold your breath and hope that your side view mirror doesn't get ripped off when the car passes you!
Ok one of the things I feel in love with is the chimney potts on top of the chimneys. It reminds me of Harry Potter and Mary Poppins! I loved Ireland. The people are so sweet and kind.
I only took 999 pictures and so I'll try and narrow them down to my most favorite.

It's been awhile since I've blogged. We went on a wonderful trip to Ireland (loved it), Aran Islands, Scotland, Shetland Islands and Amsterdam. We went for 2 weeks and had a wonderful time. As I sort through the pictures I'll comment on them.

Ok, I haven't blogged in awhile. Canned lots and lots of spiced peaches, ham and beans, black-eyed peas and I think that's it. Knitted up a new pair of socks for our trip to Ireland, Scotland, Lerwick (in the Shetland Islands) and Amsterdam. We're leaving on the 26th!! Lots to get done. I got a Seminary teacher, he thought it was safe to answer the phone!! I'm so excited and I've been packing for 2 weeks now!! I'll have to blog about my Thursday night knitting group one of these days, Erin tells me I need to.
Abbie's blessing day was Aug 4th!! She is such a cutie and sooo smart!!

Ala making banana nut bread. It turned out really good!! I realized I failed as a mother when she was reading the recipe and it said add eggs and mix. She looked puzzled and asked what mix???

So here's the hole that was in my bedroom. We had a leak under our foundation! They couldn't get rid of the water and my bedroom smelled like the swamplands of Mississippi!! They ended up digging a hole on the outside of the house and finally tunneled over to the leak and fixed it. It was very tramatic. You kept waiting for something bad to come up from under the house and get you!! I guess I watch too many movies. Things are better the hole is gone and no more boogie men and I can now sleep in my bedroom again!!
