A puffin in the western most part of Europe in Latrajburg, Iceland.

I think I finally found my favorite Puffin picture. I took tons of pictures and it was hard to choose just one, but I think this one won!

Surrounded by Faroes Sheep

Yesterday I finished Paul grey socks that he wanted. Got the yarn at Alafoss Factory in Iceland. I think he's excited to wear them to work and tell everyone his "sweetheart" made them for him. I am now working on his Shetland Island sweater. It will take a while to finish, but it will be beautiful when finished! I'll try to post a pictures along the way

Puffins in Latrajburg, Iceland

I have so many Puffin pictures it is hard to pick just one. This is just a start of my Puffin pictures. We drove 2 1/2 hours on a dirt road, hiked up the cliffs and found the puffins. The cliffs are the highest in Iceland they are 1320 feet high. We were able to walk right to the edge. It was kinda scary standing on the edge so we decided to lay on our stomachs and hang over the edge to take pictures . We were even quick enough to touch one!

Making a movie with Edda in Iceland

Paul keeping warm in his Icelandic sweater that I knit. We're at the bubbling Sulfur pools of Iceland. There was steam pouring out of the earth and big pools of dark gray mud bubbling.
Jacob and I are having a fun day together. We are playing monster tic tac toe. I think I finally got one game ahead of him. He keep beating me!! We're on lunch break!

Here is a picture of the Geysir on the Golden Circle in Iceland. It erupts every 8 minutes. It boils and then just before it erupts a beautiufl blue bubble appears. It is truly amazing!! Paul stood downwind and got sprayed with very hot water. He loved every minute of it!! Look at that beautiful blue sky. Iceland is truly a beautiful, pristine place.

Anyone know Finnish?????

I bought some yarn in the Faroe Islands that I want to knit a vest from. My girlfriend sent me a picture of a vest and I love it and want to knit it right up, only problem is the pattern is in Finnish. Anyone know Finnish??? I may have to drag out all my books and try to figure out the pattern from a picture. Did I ask if anyone knows Finnish lol
I had a great day yesterday. I finished 3 quilt blocks, I was behind and didn't want to pay for next months block!! I also have one of Paul's socks almost finished. All I have to do is put on the rib and bind off. Then I'll start his other one. While in Iceland he decided he wanted a pair of grey socks, we found wonderful sock yarn at the Alafoss factory outlet, I want to move to Iceland and work there!!! Then I'll go back to working on his Fair-Isle sweater. I finished my Icelandic cardigan, the one I started knitting while we were on our trip. All I need to do is steek it, which means cut it up the front, and put the zipper in it. You need to have lots of chocolate on hand while steeking :):) I can't wait for the cold weather to come so I can wear it!!
